Model, twisted
A twisting, dynamic pose, built up from broad, warm strokes of brown and burgundy. Across the shoulder and torso two dark red bands cross like a sash or strap, while the bottom of the sheet dissolves into a tangle of blue-green scribbles. The head is set down with quick, dark lines, the gaze turned slightly away from the viewer. There is little room for detail — the energy of the twist itself is the subject here, not the anatomy.
