Figure in a reclining or hunched pose, the head in profile at lower left set down with a few confident lines. The body stretches diagonally across the sheet in pale cream and green tones, its outline only loosely indicated in pencil. The composition leaves much white paper open, giving the figure a light, almost floating presence.
