Model, two forms
A reclining body, reduced to two large, rounded forms in cream and peachy pink — the torso and the pelvis, set down as two separate volumes side by side. On the right a small, blue-outlined head closes off the composition, with a red accent for the mouth. Thin green and burgundy lines mark where the forms meet. It is a study that comes closer to the sculptural construction of the body than to an anecdotal pose.
