Model, faint line
An extremely sparse, almost vanishing figure study. The body is little more than a thin, pencilled line pulling up to a vague head at upper right, with a haze of yellow and ochre around it. The rest of the sheet is dominated by a long, horizontal orange line stretching all the way to the left — a trace that could equally be an arm, a shadow, or simply a stray brushstroke. Of all the sheets in the series, this is one of the emptiest and most withdrawn.
