Model, line study
A pure line study, in which ochre-coloured lines form an angular, almost architectural pattern more reminiscent of a geometric construction than a body. On the right, smaller and set apart, a second little figure is sketched in green and red, with thin vertical lines for the legs. The two parts of the sheet — the large play of lines on the left, the small figure on the right — read more as experiments placed side by side than as one coherent composition.
