Model study, seated
Seated, leaning backward, the body placed diagonally across the sheet and painted entirely in muted olive green. The hair is warm ochre-yellow, with a small red accent at the neck standing out as the only vivid colour. The diagonal construction and the even, green torso give the figure a taut, almost sculptural simplicity.
