Two figures, faint and sparse
Very sparse, almost vanishing composition in which two loose elements stand far apart on the sheet. On the left a thin, olive-brown line winds upward like a branch or an arm, while on the right a hazy, pale blue-grey wash with a small, dark purple-black mark is the only other sign of form. The large, empty space between the two elements gives the sheet a strong sense of distance and silence.
