Model, blue-grey chalk
Standing figure, the body built up predominantly from soft blue-grey pastel with dense black chalk contours sharply outlining the form. Small accents of ochre and green break through the cool, muted palette. The combination of the soft pastel and the hard, black line gives the figure a tension between fluid colour and taut structure.
