Two models, brown and olive face
A dark brown seated figure beside a second, loosely sketched face in olive-ochre. On the left the first figure sits hunched, the body painted in dark brown, blue and purple, with dense, colourful planes at the midriff. On the right, in a completely different style, a second face is sketched with a few simple olive green and grey lines, with red lips and a thin blue outline. The contrast between the dense, painted figure and the sparse, drawn face gives the sheet two very different registers within a single session.
