Model, bent forward sienna chalk
Figure bent forward, cream with dense sienna chalk outlines and a blue foot accent. The head, on the left, is set down with dark, colourful paint touches, while the body stretches out to the right in a long, curving arc, carried by a dense web of reddish-brown chalk lines. A vivid blue foot accent at the bottom breaks through the otherwise warm, earthy palette. On the right, bent over the back, a second figure, accented in green and yellow, gives the composition a second point of gravity.
