Model, dark green blue seated
Seated figure, dark green and blue, warm tan background with a hazy figure at upper left. The head, with ochre-yellow and grey hair, is accented with a red mouth, while the torso is set down in dark green and bright blue. The background, in a warm sand colour, carries at upper left a loose, almost vanished second figure in thin blue lines. The contrast between the solid, painted figure and the hazy background sketch gives the sheet two layers of presence.
