Model, orange olive blue chalk
A reclining figure. To the right the composition shifts into a deeper olive green field, with a navy patch and small ochre-brown arms or legs emerging beneath it. Blue chalk draws playful, almost childlike outlines through it all, loosely holding the form together without ever pinning it down. The whole reads as a figure half sunk into cloth and cushions, warm and informal.
